Our story
Built on integrity.
Proven by results.
Since 1986, Bedrock Construction Co. has delivered commercial and industrial projects across the Pacific Northwest. We grow through referrals — the most honest measure of a contractor's track record.
How we got here
Bedrock was founded in 1986 by Marcus Holt, a project engineer who believed that the Pacific Northwest deserved a general contractor that competed on accountability, not just price. Starting with a single tilt-up warehouse in Tacoma, the company grew project by project — always self-performing the critical work rather than brokering it out.
Today, Bedrock employs more than 340 people and maintains an active backlog of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects from Bellingham to Boise. Our safety record (0.51 EMR), schedule performance (94% on-time), and repeat-client rate (72%) are the metrics we manage to.
We are privately held, debt-free, and built to last — just like the structures we build.

What drives us
Our core values
These aren't words on a wall. They are the standard we hold every team member and subcontractor to.
Safety Above All
Every Bedrock employee goes home safe. Our safety culture is built on daily planning, hazard recognition, and zero tolerance for shortcuts. Our 0.51 EMR is proof — not marketing.
Schedule Discipline
94% of our projects delivered on or ahead of schedule over the past decade. We plan with CPM scheduling, update it weekly, and surface impacts to owners immediately — not at substantial completion.
Radical Transparency
Owners receive daily field reports, real-time budget tracking, and unfiltered project data. We believe the best client relationships are built on information, not spin.
Self-Perform Quality
Our in-house concrete, steel, and carpentry crews give us direct quality control on the work that matters most. We do not broker quality — we build it.
